Apps

An AppAn interactive page you open from Informer GO, such as a dashboard, a report view, or a custom-built App. Apps can be favorited, tagged, and shared. is an interactive page that lives in Informer: a dashboard, a report view, or a full custom application. You open Apps from Informer GO's gallery, favorite the ones you use daily, and share them with teammates or the outside world.

Apps and Magic Reports​

There are two kinds: a Magic ReportA simpler kind of App built on Datasets and Ad Hoc Queries. Magic Reports are available to every Informer tenant; full Apps (with server routes, databases, and messaging) require the Apps license. builds on your DatasetsA saved, queryable collection of data pulled from one or more Datasources. Datasets are the foundation for reports, dashboards, and AI data analysis. and Ad Hoc Queries and can be edited by Designers, while a full App adds server routes, a database, messaging, and agents (and requires the Apps license). Don't have the Apps license?

Magic Reports stay fully available. Features that belong to the Apps module appear locked, with a note that reads "This feature is part of the Apps module. To unlock it, contact sales@entrinsik.com." Opening a full App on an unlicensed tenant shows an "Unlock to open this app" screen instead of the App.
