End of support for Elasticsearch 5

Future releases of Informer no longer support Elasticsearch 5. Entrinsik encourages administrators to migrate to Elasticsearch 8 as early as possible so all features remain available in future Informer versions. To make this easier, Entrinsik provides a utility that migrates data from Elasticsearch 5 indices to Elasticsearch 8 indices. See Migrating Elasticsearch.

Elastic ended support for Elasticsearch 5 with the release of Elasticsearch 7. The 7 and 8 releases are more scalable, resilient, and feature-rich. For background, see Elastic's announcements for Elasticsearch 7 and Elasticsearch 8.
