Upgrading Informer

Moving an existing Informer installation to a newer version. The method matches how you installed: the native installer on Windows, or the Docker containers on Linux. Either way, check the prerequisites and back up first.

Back up before you upgrade

Always back up the Informer metadata before upgrading. The backup and restore guides live in the Database maintenance section.
