The Informer Advisory Council (IAC)
The Informer Advisory Council (IAC) is a small, select group of customers and Partners that Entrinsik works with for input and feedback on features before they are released.
What does an IAC member do?
Members get premiere access to new features and improvements through Early Access (EA) builds. They run the EA builds, give feedback on new features, and validate them against their existing content. Members can also comment on the overall user experience at any time, see Informer's development priorities and roadmaps, and take part in pilot programs.
What is the time commitment?
The commitment is up to each member. It can be as light as keeping a test instance on the EA build and seeing how it performs, or as deep as exploring each new feature in detail. Entrinsik holds webinars, usually quarterly, to showcase the upcoming version and downstream features. Occasionally members receive a short survey during a feature's research and design phase, or join a one-on-one feedback session, giving them a chance to steer design decisions.
Is there a benefit to being a member?
Members can test new EA builds before their official release in a test environment, have a voice in shaping the future of Informer, and get direct access to product development.
Where is the test instance?
Members can run their test instance on-premise or join the Informer.Cloud pilot program, where Entrinsik manages and maintains the test instance in the cloud. For on-premise installations, Entrinsik helps install the EA build as a test instance on a separate server or virtual machine, so it does not interfere with production.
Is there special access for members?
A member's license is updated to indicate IAC membership, which lets them submit issues directly from their test instance. Issues submitted by IAC members on EA builds are fast-tracked. Members also get access to the members-only IAC Help Center, a one-stop shop for IAC material including recordings of upcoming-feature demos.
