Upgrading Informer
Moving an existing Informer installation to a newer version. The method matches how you installed: the Informer Setup wizard on Windows, or the Docker containers on Linux. Either way, check the prerequisites and back up first. On Windows the wizard migrates the deployment into a new directory rather than upgrading it in place, so read that guide through before starting.
Back up before you upgrade
Always back up the Informer metadata before upgrading. The backup and restore guides live in the Database maintenance section.
